    1. I was in grade school and wanted to know how web pages worked, so I checked out a library book. First page was written in Notepad, hosted on Xoom (when that was a hosting provider) and was just a collage of art from video games I liked (Dogz II, Sonic, etc.) @jesslynnrose/964449981070536705

    A year or two later I used the "scan" ability on my Dad's feed-through fax machine and AOLpress to make web pages out of my drawings. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AOLpress
